"Garden Thyme" with Kim Porter
The 1898 Schoolhouse
My husband and I purchased this beautiful two-room schoolhouse in the Summer of 1998. In April 2002 we opened a small seasonal garden center. We plan to use the profits for the restoration of the schoolhouse. For more information, contact us by e-mail.

Finally after eight years of saving, we have started the restoration of the old schoolhouse. Unfortunately, we cannot afford new slate for the roof, but we are redoing the roof just like it was one hundred and twelve years ago with asphalt shingles.

Our roofing contractor, (MRC) Myers Roofing Contractors of Noblesville is doing a great job and within our budget. Our friend and neighbor, Scott Broady is helping us with the brick work.

Special thanks, to all of our loyal customers, for helping us make this happen!
